Because **AK Infotech** distributes hardware at wholesale prices, our commercial return policies differ from retail e-commerce guidelines. Please review these rules before finalize your purchase bookings.
All wholesale sales are final. We do not accept returns, order cancellations, or item exchanges for change-of-mind, inventory overstocking, or site project cancellations. We advise checking all model numbers and specifications before completing payment transactions.
If you receive a unit that is non-functional straight out of the box (Dead on Arrival):
Upon receipt and technical inspection of the hardware, we will issue a replacement unit of the same model. If the specific model is out of stock, we will issue store credit or swap it for an equivalent model.
If a product malfunctions after the initial 48-hour testing window, the claim must be routed through the manufacturer's national warranty channels. Products from Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, ESSL, ZKTEco, D-Link, and Dell are covered under their respective brand warranty terms.
AK Infotech can assist you in locating the nearest authorized brand service centers in your district. Defective items must be sent directly to these centers for repair or replacement.
Freight and logistics charges for shipping items back to our Chennai showroom or to brand service centers are the responsibility of the buyer. AK Infotech will cover the transport cost of sending replacement/repaired items back to the buyer for approved DOA claims.
Refunds are only issued under exceptional circumstances (e.g., if we are unable to fulfill an order due to inventory stockouts and no substitute item is acceptable to the buyer). Approved refunds will be processed via bank transfer to the source business account within 7 to 10 working days.
